Why Exercise Won't Make You Thin →
The basic problem is that while it’s true that exercise burns calories and that you must burn calories to lose weight, exercise has another effect: it can stimulate hunger. That causes us to eat more, which in turn can negate the weight-loss benefits we just accrued. Exercise, in other words, isn’t necessarily helping us lose weight. It may even be making it harder.
This is a theory that sounds strange yet logical. I’m not agreeing, but I do see the logic, and I do think that exercise is vitally important to our well–being, especially in modern times like these we live in, when we use more and more various ways of transportation instead of our two feet like we used to in the past.
Use NEAT Activities to Burn More Calories →
Using what’s known as “non–exercise activities” (things such as moving around while waiting, tapping feet, making gestures while speaking, etc.) can burn up to 350 calories a day, so you might want to start picking up on some new habits if you’re aiming to lose some excess pounds easily.
We should all focus less on the food and more on the activity, because activity always feels good and restricting foods almost never does. And what kind of way is that to live?
